St. Ives in Cornwall is a beautiful place for a short break. If you get a weather that is bright and sunny, it is nothing like it. This  panaromic view is taken from vantage point near St Ives, train station with Sony NEX 5. The blue or green colour of the sea looks stunning with small boats on the shore.

We went to St Ives on the Easter weekend. We noticed two girls taking a dive from the harbour. Friend of theirs was taking photograph as they jumped. I think they needed pictures of the jump. I managed to capture their jumps with my Nikon DSLR and share it with you.

Should you know them, please feel to share this link so that they can download the pictures.

Harbour Fish & Chips Restaurant is a very good and reasonably priced restaurant serving fish and chips/salads. The feel of the restaurant is like Wagamama's in London. I would recommend it.

St Ives Museum Cornish heritage covering fishing, the Great Western Railway, artists, mining, maritime history of Hain Steamship Co., Victoriana clothes, boat building and farming. The museum is run by volunteers. If you are interested to know the tools and equipment that were used in ships 100 years back, then you may visit. Or you have the beach to relax.

St. Ives is a lovely place to visit and enjoy. I would recommend it.
