The tablet war is hotting up with the entry of Windows 8. It has a cool interface with swipe navigation with square and rectangular shortcuts. iPad dominates nearly 70% of the market share.

Comparison between iPad and Windows 8.

Tablets are pricey in comparison to laptops which has superior configuration and computing. The advantage of tablet is portability and style. But if Windows 8 offers the users good experience at a competitive price then it will stand a chance in the market.
